Academic:  Associate faculty of composition/research writing at Shoreline Community College, and guest faculty at University of Washington School of Drama, teaching playwriting.

Former Associate Professor of playwriting, screenwriting and dramatic literature at St. Cloud State University from 2007-2015.  Taught creative and rhetorical writing courses for undergraduate Creative Writing, Film Studies and Theater Majors and Minors, as well as English students in the Masters program.  Script analysis courses included general literature courses in plays as literature and advanced special studies in film and theater with in-depth analysis of textual and visual storytelling.

Youth: Teaching artist for Pillsbury Theater’s Chicago Avenue Project for students age 7-12 from 2004 to 2007. As artist-in-residence in Minneapolis Public Schools in 2005, directed a class of third graders in a production of a new musical, Mount Vesuvius. Currently teach dramatic writing courses for children ages 8+ through Vashon Allied Arts.

Community: The Playwrights’ Center and The Loft Literary Center (2005-2008) women’s writing workshop on erotica, and continuing education classes in introductory and intermediate playwriting.
